It's like the microbrewery of wellness...

"Finally, Someone That Produces Their On Secrete In House Formulas AND Grow Their Own Organic Herbs So That You Can Begin To Heal Yourself Naturally From The Inside."

The Story...

In mid November of 2009, while on one of my travel discovery adventures, I had the awesome pleasure/luck/kismet/opportunity/honor/serendipity/pleasure of meeting Megan Hart...

Since beginning getkombcuha in early 2005, I've wanted to introduce quality wellness products and services that had that artisan vibe to it.

I also never wanted to offer anything or anyone that I have not experienced for myself.

This means not only do I need to try the product and see the benefits first hand, I also need to meet the people behind the products (this is also the fun part of the job, since often times I get to travel to exotic fun places.. all for the sake of you guys!.. not a bad gig, huh?)

Anyway, I almost gave up on herbal extracts because all the companies of purveyed were either a grower of herbs OR a producer of tinctures.

I am so happy to have met Megan at just the right time, someone who "LIVES IT, and Walks the Walk" of herbalism.

I am even happier that I get the opportunity to share her wellness formulas with you!!

Happy Brewin, Dave

About Megan:

Megan Hart is the owner and founder of Herbal Body Health, LLC.  Megan has always had a love of nature and a great respect for what it provides.  She began her path in herbalism in 2003 while interning at Heron Botanicals in Poulsbo, Washington.  There, she had formal training in the craft of preparing herbal remedies and gained hands-on experience growing and harvesting herbs.

In 2005, Megan graduated from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in herbal medicine/ethnobotany and sustainability.  Megan is currently working towards earning her Master Herbalist certification through a correspondence course taught by Paul V. Beyerl M.H. (Author of The Master Book of Herbalism).

hollyhock.jpgHerbal Body Health (formerly HerbAlchemy) began in Megan’s garden in 2004.  She took the knowledge she gained at the botanical farm and began creating her own herbal formulas, including the signature product, The Sexy Salve.  We currently grow between 20-30 different herbs in our garden.  It is our goal to grow 90% of the herbs used in our products.

A side note: All of the photos on our labels and the ones you see here are of the plants in our gardens or from our wild-crafting hunts.

About our products:

mullein.jpgWe ensure all of the herbs used in our products are either organic, sustainably wild-crafted or at a minimum grown naturally without pesticides.  All of the oils used in the salves are of the highest quality and always organic. It is our mission to support organic agriculture and sustainable, fair-trade.
