The Basics
White tea has been getting much attention recently. For those that do not already know, White Tea is made from the baby tea bud and leaves of the tea plant Camellia sinensis.

Unlike other teas, White tea does not go through an oxidation stage. Because of this, white tea retains the highest concentrations of Anti Oxidants.

Our Supreme White Peony, brews a delicate woodsy cup. It is a wonderful summertime tea and can even be infused with some fresh lemons and Agave Syrup -- Take That Arnold Palmer!

The Good Stuff (Impress Your Friends.)
Hairy Is Good! (at least when it comes to tea). Before you prepare our Supreme White Peony, place a little bit in your hand and notice it.

You will see delicate hairs covering the tea buds and leaves. These hairs are knows as the Hao (pronounced "How", as in, "How can I get this kick ass tea?"... "Right here at GetKombucha.com, silly").

The Hao of the tea contains the majority of the beneficial antioxidants. If you notice, black tea does not have as much hao (or any), because it gets removed during oxidation.
